Thank you for your interest in a board position with Sickle Cell Medical Advocacy Inc! The responsibility for each role at SCMA is not as extensive as the roles description attached, but we must include all possibilities for the future.

 

We have openings for the following roles:

 

1. President/Vice President: Starting in September 2024, but training can begin immediately. This is a co-lead position with one person as President and the other as VP, supporting each other in leading the board. One co-leader position has been filled, and we are seeking one more.

2. Secretary of the Board: Available immediately. This is also a co-lead position to support the current Secretary, who may have schedule conflicts.

​

3. Chair of Funding Committee: Available immediately to collaborate with the board's Treasurer.
